This project is on a brown field site within Tamale’s central business district. It was previously occupied by dilapidated squatter / temporary structures. 

The brief required the provision of an impressive building at reasonable costs to ensure that the bank gains its market share of business in this region, this being its first Northern Ghana branch. This was achieved by providing a 2 floor building with highly efficient space planning. The use of solar glazing curtain walling on the front facade, maintenance free locally available brick facing, coupled with the bank colors all contribute to making the building noticeable without being intrusive. 

 

This project was executed as a design + build package by Dartwood in-house architects, engineers, surveyors, artisans and tradesmen. Specialist works packages were executed as series of subcontract packages under our control.
